If you've never attended the famous Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta , now in it's 41st year, here is a great opportunity to not only do so, but do so with us, Corvairs of New Mexico.
Make your plans to join us for this premier event.
It is not too soon to book your hotel** and RV park reservation as this is a very well attended event .
We are advertising this event early in the year because accomodations really do fill up fast .
You are on your own for this part ,but once you arrive , we will do all we can to make your visit one to remember.
Bring you & yours, your Corvair and your camera for this amazing event !
**(When searching hotel options ,you should choose an accomodation close to the Balloon Fiesta . So for example, if you were to choose hotels.com , you are given a balloon fiesta fairgrounds option and that will put you close to all the action)

Hot Air and Corvairs
THE DETAILS
CNM (Corvairs of New Mexico) will be participating in the opening ceremonies , Sunday, October 7th , displaying our Corvairs in the annual car show at the Balloon Fiesta fairgrounds.
This is an early morning event and one in which we cue up with other car clubs before entering the fairgrounds. This will also get you in for free. Show your Corvair while enjoying this wonderful, colorful event.
We are asking those who will be attending to join us on Friday , October 5th for a "Meet and Greet" , briefing and directions to our staging area for Sunday morning.
We will begin our Corvair Caravan Tour Saturday morning October 6th. Our route and various points of interest including Santa Fe, will be announced at a later date.
That evening following our return to Albuquerque, CNM and our guests will convene for dinner TBA. We also are considering an all Corvair show on the following day, Sunday October 7th following the Fiesta car car in a different location.
This event actually runs from October 6-14th. You may choose to continue your stay and take in the activities during the following week. Here is the link to the official schedule of events at the balloon fiesta.
